Making a photograph is the first step in my work but then I spend hours in post-production with a view in mind to creating art. The next step is to print the image using the Gic`lee process on high quality archival paper or in many cases on canvas. This makes the cost higher but it also make the quality MUCH better. In addition I add textures by painting on the images that are printed on canvas. Occasionally I like to use metallic/pearl paper which is less expensive but some photographs show best this way.
I continue to learn and improve my skills as a photographer and as an artist.
None of my pictures are mass produced. Many are one of a kind and none are duplicated more that six time and I rarely do that.
